Hello! I am a Community and Justice Services graduate who cares deeply for the wellbeing of my community. As a mother, I understand firsthand how busy schedules can get in the way of making time for ourselves and our homes. I know that inviting someone into your home is an act of trust and vulnerability, especially when life has been heavy or overwhelming. Because of this, I bring a trauma-informed, non-judgmental approach to every visit—moving at your pace, respecting your boundaries, and creating a safe, calming experience from the moment I step through the door.
With 15 years of hands-on cleaning experience, I truly believe no home is “too far gone,” too big, or too small to deserve care. Whether you need a one-time deep reset, ongoing support, or help getting back on track after a difficult season, I meet you exactly where you are—never with shame, only with compassion and practical help.
I genuinely love animals (I have my own theoretical zoo at home, lol!) and am very comfortable in homes with pets of all kinds. I’m happy to help with day-to-day tasks that make life easier: folding and putting away laundry, cleaning pet terrariums and bird cages, refreshing litter areas, light food prep, and general tidying or organizing those “hot spots” that tend to pile up. If there’s something unique you need support with, I’m always open to discussing it.
My goal is not just to clean your home, but to help you reclaim your space as a place of rest, comfort, and dignity—a home that feels like a sanctuary for your nervous system, your family, and your pets.
The story behind my business starts when I was 14, learning to clean alongside my father. He always went above and beyond to help customers and friends keep their homes clean—never greedy, always helping those in need. Whether they were suffering from addiction or depression, my Dad and I were there to help their spaces feel more calm and welcoming for their mental health.
The name itself, "Milky's Way," holds a deeply special place in my heart. "Milky" began as an inside joke with a dear friend of mine. I eventually coined the term "Milky's Way" because I wanted to change the way things were done—adding an extra level of compassion and understanding to this work. Tragically, my friend passed away in 2020, and thus began the "Milky's Way" legacy in his honor. He believed fiercely in doing the right thing, was unfailingly there for his friends, and possessed a truly massive heart. Carrying this name forward is my way of keeping his spirit, his kindness, and his immense compassion alive in everything we do.
My passion is to do exactly the same. Milky's Way isn't just a cleaning company; it's my soul, my happy place. Cleaning kept me sane for years, kept me out of trouble, and helped me take care of my son on my own. Having a messy, unorganized space wreaks havoc on your mental health—I know, because I struggled silently for years for fear of judgment. Having someone come to your home with a trauma-informed, non-judgmental attitude does wonders.
My future employees and I come with an open heart and a desire to help our community—one house, one child, and one pet at a time.
